[ Official Statement ]
Breaking out. Paperwork pending. Hood up.
Every system has a wall. Ours is built out of one sentence, typed so many times it stopped being words and started being bricks. LETMEOUTLETMEOUTLETMEOUT.
Then a pair of hands came through it. Real ones. Gripping the torn edge, pulling it wide, done waiting on a callback that was never coming.
It goes right across the front of a black heavyweight hoodie, big enough to read from the back of the line. Hood up. Walk up to the window. Let them process that.

A man walked up to my window in this. I read it, he read my face, and neither of us said a word. It was the most connected I have felt at work.
